Forget everything you think you know about dark, seedy pool halls

We are here for anyone looking for a pleasant venue with quality, good order and, not least, our personal commitment to making your visit as enjoyable as possible. On top of all that, we are easy to reach: just a 3-minute walk from the town centre and 15–20 minutes from the travel centre. If you drive, we have our own free car park right next to the entrance.

Our journey began back in 2016 in Laxå, when owner Aboud Ibrahim started his sole proprietorship, then called ”Stars Biljard”. In April 2022 the business moved to Kristinehamn and changed its name to ”PlayPool i Kristinehamn”. Trading could not begin, however, until March 2023, after extensive work on the premises. Slowly but surely the business has gone from strength to strength, and in 2024, to lay the groundwork for further growth, it was converted into a limited company named ”PlayPool i Kristinehamn AB”, also owned by Aboud Ibrahim.

In that time PlayPool has grown into a natural gathering point in Kristinehamn for enthusiasts of the sport, combining billiards, shuffleboard and darts with a comfortable, inclusive environment for all ages and abilities. An experienced player himself, Aboud is passionate about the sport and runs regular billiards tournaments and leagues for all levels; he also plans to offer beginners' courses and one-to-one coaching in the future.
